Jhalakathi, July 13 (V7N) – A special meeting was held by the Rajapur Upazila unit of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Saturday afternoon to promote the party’s ongoing membership collection and renewal campaign. The event took place at the Rajapur Upazila Auditorium and brought together leaders and activists from various levels of the party.
 
Rafiqul Islam Jamal, BNP’s Central Religious Affairs Secretary, attended the program as the chief guest. The meeting was inaugurated by BNP Central Assistant Organizing Secretary Akn Quddusur Rahman, who also served as the keynote speaker. Another Central Assistant Organizing Secretary, Mahbubul Haque Nannu, joined as a special guest.
 
The event was presided over by Advocate Talukdar Abul Kalam Azad, President of Rajapur Upazila BNP. Leaders from the district, upazila, and union-level BNP and affiliated organizations participated and spoke at the meeting.
 
Speakers emphasized unity and urged all local members to actively take part in revitalizing the party at the grassroots through membership expansion. The meeting aimed to energize the organization and strengthen BNP’s political presence in Jhalakathi ahead of future activities.
