Dhaka, Jun 05 (V7N) – Dr. Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, has left for London on Thursday morning to celebrate Eid-ul-Azha with her husband and daughter.

She departed on a Qatar Airways flight from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 11:05 AM, BNP Chairperson’s media wing official Shamsuddin Didar confirmed.

Earlier in the morning, Dr. Zubaida was reportedly escorted from her residence around 9:00 AM. Her return to London comes less than a month after BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia arrived back in Bangladesh on May 6, following advanced medical treatment in London. Khaleda Zia was accompanied by two daughters-in-law and 14 others, including a medical board member.

While Dr. Zubaida has now rejoined her family in London, sources suggest that she is likely to return to Bangladesh soon, although no official date has been announced.
