Dhaka, Nov 21 (V7N) — Admission applications for classes 1 to 9 in all government and private schools across metropolitan cities, districts, upazilas and the capital began today, with students once again set to be selected through a digital lottery system.
The online application process opened at 11 a.m. on Friday and will continue until December 5 at 5 p.m., according to the admission guidelines released by the Department of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) on Thursday (November 20).
As per the guidelines, applicants must complete their forms online through the website gsa.teletalk.com.bd. The application fee has been fixed at Tk 100, payable through any Teletalk prepaid mobile connection. Students can submit their applications from home.
The digital lottery is tentatively scheduled for December 14. Following the lottery, selected students will be able to complete their admissions from December 17 to 21.
This year, two waiting lists will also be published. Admissions from the first waiting list will take place from December 22 to 24, while admissions from the second waiting list will be held from December 27 to 30.
