Kuala Lumpur, May 17 (V7N) — The physical condition of Mirza Abbas, a member of the standing committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party undergoing treatment in Malaysia, has improved significantly, according to his wife Afroza Abbas.
Speaking to expatriate journalists at Prince Court Medical Centre on Saturday, Afroza Abbas said that doctors are currently keeping the senior BNP leader under special observation and that his condition is now much more stable than before.
She added that Mirza Abbas is undergoing physiotherapy as part of his recovery process in Malaysia and may return to Bangladesh in the first week of June if his health continues to improve.
Afroza Abbas also said that the BNP standing committee member has spoken with party leaders, supporters and well-wishers who visited him at the hospital during his treatment.
