Dhaka, Apr 13 (V7N) – Pranay Verma has said that relations between Bangladesh and India are gradually returning to normal and strengthening through continued engagement.
He made the remarks after a courtesy call with Hafiz Uddin Ahmed on Monday morning.
Pranay Verma said both countries are working to preserve their emotional and cultural ties, noting that mutual understanding and trust remain strong between the two sides. He added that cooperation in sectors such as energy, communication, and culture continues to play an important role in bilateral relations.
The High Commissioner also highlighted that Bangladesh and India share common history, culture, and traditions, and said both countries will continue to work in areas that bring mutual benefits to their people.
He further mentioned that discussions included the continuation of regular exchanges between the parliamentary institutions of the two countries.
