Tangail, Feb 27 (V7N) — Minister for Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology Fakir Mahbub Anam Swapan said that the government is expanding digital services to modernize the country’s postal department. He made the remarks during a view-sharing session at the Tangail District Commissioner’s office on Friday (February 27).
The minister said the government is actively working to develop digital infrastructure, enhance internet service quality, expand fiber optic networks, and modernize postal services across the country. He highlighted plans to transform village-level post offices into multipurpose service centers to better serve local communities.
During the session, Fakir Mahbub Anam Swapan also pointed out existing issues in telecommunication services in Tangail and emphasized the need for rapid solutions to improve connectivity and service delivery.
