Dhaka, Feb 21 (V7N) — Education Minister ANM Ehsanul Haque Milon has said the Bangla language must be given priority in all spheres and established at the global level, including in international courts.

He made the remarks on Saturday morning (February 21) while speaking at an International Mother Language Day programme in Mirpur, Dhaka.

Focus on Practical and Rational Education

The minister emphasized the need to make primary education more rational and effective. He said children should receive more hands-on learning so that education becomes practical and relevant.

He also stressed the importance of reforming the existing system to reduce unemployment, noting that an effective and modern education framework is essential for the country’s progress.

Call for World-Class Education

State Minister for Education Bobby Hajjaj said proper education is fundamental to nation-building. He highlighted the need to introduce world-class standards consistently across the country.

Commitment to Transparency

Both leaders said they are determined to ensure that all departments under the Ministry of Education operate free from corruption, aiming to build a transparent and efficient education administration.

The programme was attended by officials, educators and local representatives, marking the significance of language and education in national development.
