Washington, Sep 14 (V7N)- US President Donald Trump has said he will discuss “almost everything” with Chinese President Xi Jinping during their scheduled meeting on September 24.
Anadolu Agency reported the remarks, citing Trump’s press conference on Sunday (September 13).
Trump said the meeting would cover a wide range of issues, including trade and automobiles. Discussions are also expected to address Boeing, the conflicts in Ukraine and Gaza, artificial intelligence (AI), and US defense production.
Defending his administration’s tariffs on Chinese vehicles, Trump said he had kept Chinese cars out of the US market.
“I am the one who kept them out,” he said.
Asked whether he expected to reach an agreement with China over the purchase of Boeing aircraft, Trump replied, “I make all kinds of deals.”
Trump was also asked about reports that Chinese companies may have provided Iran with satellite imagery of US and allied airbases in Jordan.
Responding to the reports, Trump said China conducts intelligence activities similar to those of the United States.
“They do what we do,” he said.
