Washington, Sep 03 (V7N)- US President Donald Trump has said the United States is fighting Iran to protect Israel, the Middle East and the Western world.
He made the remarks on Wednesday, according to Anadolu Agency.
“We are fighting Iran to protect the Middle East and Israel. We are doing this for our own interests,” Trump said.
Addressing concerns over Israel’s security, Trump added, “Israel has no reason to worry. Do you know why? Because I will take care of Israel.”
He further claimed, “If it weren’t for me, Israel wouldn’t exist.”
