Tehran, Aug 23 (V7N)- The goal of liberating Palestine “from the river to the sea” remains alive and is more achievable than ever, Esmail Qaani, commander of the Quds Force of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), has said.

Qaani made the remarks in comments reported by Iran's Fars News Agency, according to The Times of Israel.

He accused Israel of expanding illegal settlements and committing what he described as crimes against Palestinians, saying such actions were attempts to conceal what he called Israel's deep military, security, political and social crisis.

According to Qaani, these actions cannot hide what he described as Israel's “strategic defeat” since October 2023.

He said the Palestinian cause remains “alive and unchangeable” and would continue until what he described as the establishment of justice is achieved.

The senior Iranian military official also said Tehran's position on the Palestinian issue would not change.

Qaani maintained that Iran would continue to support its stated position on Palestine until the goal of establishing justice is achieved.
