Tehran, May 24 (V7N)- Iranian President Masoud Pajhwok has stated that no major national decision is taken without the permission and coordination of the country’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, underscoring that national unity remains Iran’s most important asset in addressing internal and external challenges.
Speaking in a meeting with the head of Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB), the president said that all key decisions are made within the framework of the Supreme National Security Council and require approval from the Supreme Leader’s office. He emphasized that he avoids positions that could create internal divisions or be exploited by external actors.
He further noted that Iran’s current priority is not war or military escalation, but maintaining peace, social cohesion, and institutional stability. According to him, despite ongoing geopolitical pressure, efforts are being made to limit public disputes that could weaken national solidarity.
The president also highlighted that unity among the public and state institutions has been crucial in maintaining stability during sensitive periods. He urged all political and institutional actors to present a unified national stance in diplomatic matters to strengthen Iran’s position internationally.
