Mathura, Dec 16 (V7N) — A major road accident occurred on the Delhi-Agra Expressway early Tuesday morning, involving seven buses and three private cars, leaving at least 13 people dead and 25 others injured, authorities said.
Eyewitnesses reported that dense fog severely reduced visibility, causing multiple vehicles to collide. Several vehicles caught fire, and many passengers were trapped inside. Rescue teams arrived promptly and evacuated the victims to nearby hospitals.
This accident comes just a day after a similar multi-vehicle collision involving around 20 vehicles on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, also attributed to poor visibility due to dense fog.
Officials have urged drivers to exercise extreme caution while traveling in foggy conditions and to adhere to speed limits and safety guidelines.
