Dhaka, Nov 25 (V7N) – At least nine children and a woman were killed in Pakistani airstrikes across multiple Afghan provinces, including Khost, according to a report by Al Jazeera.
Taliban administration spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid confirmed on Tuesday (November 25) that the deadliest strike occurred in the Garbuz district of Khost province shortly after midnight on Monday.
In a post on X, Mujahid said the home of a local resident, Waliat Khan, was bombed, leaving nine children — five boys and four girls — and a woman dead. The house was completely destroyed in the attack.
Mujahid further stated that Pakistani forces also carried out airstrikes in northeastern Kunar and eastern Paktika provinces. At least four civilians were injured in those attacks.
The incident adds to rising tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, with cross-border accusations of harboring militants and escalating retaliatory operations.
