Tel Aviv, Oct 13 (V7N) — US President Donald Trump arrived in Israel on Monday (October 13) morning local time, stepping off Air Force One at Ben Gurion Airport to a ceremonial welcome featuring trumpet music on the red carpet.

Upon arrival, Trump shook hands with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and exchanged warm greetings with smiles. Speaking from Air Force One the previous day, Trump had described Netanyahu as a “wartime prime minister” who had performed well during recent conflicts. He added, “We had some differences, but they were quickly resolved.”

Trump also greeted his special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who played a key role in mediating the recent Israeli-Palestinian ceasefire agreement.
