Tehran, June 27 (V7N) — Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has asserted the unity of the Iranian people and rejected demands from the United States for Iran to surrender.

In his first video message since recent US airstrikes in Iran and the subsequent ceasefire with Israel, Khamenei declared that the Iranian nation’s voice is unified and strong. His full message, delivered on Thursday (June 26), was leaked on social media ahead of its official broadcast.

Khamenei criticized former US President Donald Trump for calling on Iran to surrender, calling it an insulting statement for a great nation like Iran. “It is insulting for a great country and nation like Iran to talk about surrender,” he said.

He added firmly, “Iran will never surrender. Trump said Iran must surrender. The US will only be satisfied if Iran surrenders. But surrender will never happen. We are a strong nation. Iran has slapped the Americans in the face.”
