Jhalokathi, Dec 10 (V7N) – Dr. Faizul Haque, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami’s parliamentary candidate, led a large rally and roadshow with a substantial number of party activists in Kathalia upazila. The event was organized under the presidency of Master Md. Mojibur Rahman, Amir of the Upazila Jamaat, and drew widespread participation from local residents.
The procession began from the Jamaat party office near the Kathalia bus stand and traversed the main streets of the town before concluding at a public gathering.
Addressing the crowd, Dr. Faizul Haque stated, “Jamaat-e-Islami is the party of the people. We are determined to work in unity and bring about a ballot-based revolution to lead the country in the upcoming election. Insha’Allah, with the trust and support of the people, a patriotic government under Jamaat-e-Islami’s leadership will be formed. Our goal is not merely political power, but the welfare of the people and the establishment of a just society.”
He further emphasized that corruption, extortion, and terrorism will have no place in Kathalia. The party will work to ensure the security and interests of the citizens. Dr. Faizul Haque declared that Dr. Shafiqur Rahman, Jamaat-e-Islami’s Amir, would serve as Bangladesh’s next Prime Minister, promising justice and safety to the people.
Dr. Faizul Haque also highlighted the importance of a fair and peaceful election process and urged the local population to unite and vote for change. Participants of the rally expressed their hope for a government under Jamaat-e-Islami that would ensure law, order, and justice in society. At the conclusion of the procession, speakers reaffirmed their support for the party’s candidates and leadership.
