DHAKA, March 6, (V7N) - The National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO) has reported that a total of 1,90,029 cases have been resolved through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) under the government’s legal aid programme.

According to a report published on the organisation’s official website, the data covers activities from 2009 to January 2026. During this period, ADR was applied in 2,13,303 cases, benefiting 371,193 people.

The report also noted that 13,97,530 individuals received legal services at government expense, including litigants in the High Court and Appellate Division of the Supreme Court, lower courts, labour courts, and financially disadvantaged prisoners.

These services are provided under the Legal Aid Services Act to support vulnerable justice seekers. The programme is implemented by NLASO under the Law and Justice Division of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
