Bagerhat, Oct 27 (V7N) — The Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Jubo Dal celebrated its founding anniversary in Bagerhat on Monday, reviving the festive spirit in the district after 17 years. The district Jubo Dal organized a colorful rally and discussion program at Swadhinata Udyan, drawing leaders and activists from across the district for a vibrant gathering.

From early morning, participants arrived from various upazilas, joining the procession on foot and motorcycles. The rally began at Swadhinata Udyan, traversed the main city streets, and returned to the park, where a discussion session followed.

The event was attended by former district Jubo Dal General Secretary Sujon Molla, Md. Abul Hasan, Md. Sumon Paik, Sheikh Ziaur Rahman Zia, Md. Saful Islam, Md. Ibrahim Molla, Murad Chowdhury, Lion Sheikh Ziaur Rahman, Zakaria Milon, Md. Sohag Howlader, Md. Raju Molla, Sheikh Delwar Hossain, Sheikh Asaduzzaman Asad, among others.

In his speech, former General Secretary Sujon Molla said, “For the past 17 years, we were unable to conduct any significant activities. Various challenges and political circumstances had left the organization largely inactive. But today, seeing leaders and activists gather from across the district is our greatest achievement. This day brings joy and renewed confidence to us.”

He added that Jubo Dal has always been at the forefront of movements for democracy and citizens’ rights. He urged the new generation of youth to take the lead in raising the organization’s banner higher. He emphasized that the primary goal now is to rebuild a united and strong Bagerhat District Jubo Dal, preparing it for active political engagement and organizational growth.

The program saw enthusiastic participation from leaders and members of various levels of the district Jubo Dal, transforming the event into a lively celebration of the organization’s legacy and future ambitions.
