DHAKA, March 20, (V7N) — Rain and thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind and lightning flashes are likely to occur at a few places across all eight divisions tomorrow, according to the Met office.

The forecast said hailstorms may lash parts of Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions.

Daytime temperatures may fall slightly, while night temperatures are expected to remain nearly unchanged across the country.

In the last 24 hours till 6 pm Friday, the highest rainfall was recorded at 33 mm in Madaripur.

The maximum temperature of 33.1°C was recorded at Teknaf in Chattogram division, while the minimum of 19°C was reported at Syedpur and Rajarhat in Rangpur division.

The Met office advised residents to remain cautious of sudden gusty winds and lightning, especially in areas forecast to experience hailstorms.
