Rajshahi, Sept 04 (V7N) — Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Standing Committee member, Dhaka-3 constituency MP and Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Ministry of Agriculture, freedom fighter Goyeshwar Chandra Roy, arrived in Rajshahi on Thursday.
He was received at Hazrat Shah Makhdum Airport in Rajshahi in the afternoon by Rajshahi City Corporation Administrator and Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP General Secretary Mahfuzur Rahman Riton.
Among those present to welcome him were BNP Central Executive Committee Forest and Environment Affairs Secretary Mohammad Mosaddeq Hossain Bulbul; Rajshahi Metropolitan BNP President Mamun-or-Rashid Mamun; Jiya Mancha Central Joint General Secretary and Rajshahi Divisional Team Leader Abdul Matin; Rajshahi Metropolitan Jiya Mancha President Md Kamal Uddin Sarker; Shah Makhdum Thana BNP Member Secretary Nasim Khan; Matihar Thana BNP Member Secretary Al Mamun Babu; Metropolitan Chhatra Dal President Rakin Raihan Robin; Member Secretary Emdadul Haque Limon; and leaders and activists from various levels of the BNP and its affiliated and associate organisations.
The visit brought together senior BNP leaders and representatives of the party’s affiliated organisations in Rajshahi.
