Dhaka, Feb 13 (V7N) — The Election Commission (EC) has announced the final results of 297 seats in the 13th National Parliament election. EC Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed revealed the results at the Election Commission building in Agargaon after 2:30 pm on Friday (February 13).
The announcement of results for Chittagong-2 and Chittagong-4 seats has been postponed and will be declared later. One additional seat, Sherpur-3, had already been postponed due to the death of a candidate.

The EC stated that the official gazette will be published soon after cross-checking with Returning Officers’ information. Akhtar Ahmed also clarified that the Election Commission does not have the authority to decide who will take the oath.
