Khagrachhari, Feb 11 (V7N) — All preparations for the 13th National Assembly elections and referendum have been completed in Khagrachhari district, with ballot papers and other necessary election equipment now at all polling stations.

Presiding officers received the election materials for their respective centers from the Upazila Parishad offices starting at noon on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Anwar Sadat said, “The administration has completed all preparations to ensure a fair and peaceful election. Voting equipment has reached all centers, and we are committed to holding a peaceful election.”

District Election Officer SM Shahadat Hossain confirmed that all arrangements have been made for the parliamentary elections and referendum.

A total of 554,113 voters are eligible to cast their votes at 203 polling centers across the district.
