Dhaka, Feb 09 (V7N)- BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman will address the nation today on the occasion of the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum. His speech will be broadcast on Bangladesh Television (BTV) between 7:00 pm and 8:00 pm on Monday (February 9).

In addition, Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Mamunul Haque will also deliver speeches to the nation today, which are scheduled to be aired on BTV. According to the broadcast schedule, Dr. Shafiqur Rahman’s speech is expected to be aired between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Earlier, on Sunday, speeches by National Citizens Party (NCP) Convener Nahid Islam and Islami Andolan Bangladesh Ameer Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim (Charmonai Pir) were broadcast on BTV. Charmonai Pir’s address was aired at 6:00 pm, followed by Nahid Islam’s speech at 7:00 pm.

It is noteworthy that the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum will be held on February 12. Voting will take place without interruption from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm on that day. A total of 51 political parties are participating in this year’s election.
