Dhaka, Dec 02 (V7N) — Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman has stated that if the party comes to power, no decision will be made without consulting the people and relevant stakeholders.
He made the remarks during a meeting with pharmaceutical traders at a restaurant in Sheorapara, Dhaka, on Tuesday (December 2) afternoon.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman emphasized that a corruption-free society would benefit both the rich and poor, and that Jamaat’s strict stance against mismanagement will continue.
He also criticized some doctors for allegedly taking illegal benefits from pharmaceutical traders, noting that there are enough opportunities for Bangladeshi doctors to work ethically. The Jamaat Ameer highlighted Bangladesh’s progress in the pharmaceutical sector, stating that Bangladeshi medicines are now exported to many countries, reducing previous dependence on foreign products.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman concluded by saying that Jamaat wants to build the future of Bangladesh based on justice and fairness.
