Thakurgaon, Nov 11 (V7N) — BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has called Sheikh Hasina a terrorist, alleging that she is attempting to survive through terrorist activities and will face the country’s wrath for past oppression.
Speaking at a view-sharing meeting at Laxmirhat High School ground in Baragaon Union, Sadar Upazila, on Tuesday afternoon, Mirza Fakhrul claimed that the Awami League has killed, oppressed, and tortured the people.
He accused Sheikh Hasina of burning vehicles and calling for hartals from India, saying she aims to destroy the country’s resources while sitting in Delhi. Mirza Fakhrul warned that she will not be allowed to return to Bangladesh unless she comes back to engage in politics with the people.
He also criticized Jamaat-e-Islami, alleging that the party, which he claimed lacks voter support, is attempting to delay the elections through PR and other demands.
