Dhaka, Nov 06 (V7N)- BNP Standing Committee member Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury has said that Bangladesh’s foreign relations will be guided by four key principles — mutual respect, mutual interests, the right to make geopolitical decisions, and non-interference in internal affairs.

He made these remarks at a seminar titled “Tareq Rahman: Politics and Policy” organized by the Dhaka Forum Initiative at a hotel in the capital on Thursday (November 6).

Amir Khasru said, “The development of the country is not possible without ambition. That is why BNP is ambitious. We have promised to create jobs for 10 million people. BNP will start working from day one if it gets the responsibility.”

He also announced that if the BNP comes to power, it will open PayPal to strengthen digital financial connectivity and employment opportunities.

Highlighting the leadership of Tarique Rahman, Khasru said,

“Tarique Rahman is the beacon of democracy, the son of the promoter of multi-party democracy. He is fulfilling the responsibility of protecting democracy. Like Khaleda Zia, his son has also driven out tyranny by fighting for democracy. When no party dared to talk about reforms, BNP gave 31 points.”

The event was attended by senior BNP leaders, researchers, and members of various socio-political organizations.
