Comilla, Oct 31 (V7N)- Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh Naib-e-Amir Dr. Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher has criticized the BNP for allegedly not accepting the reform proposal, calling it a sign of irresponsibility. He claimed that this stance could create a new political crisis and sow doubts among the public regarding the February elections.
Dr. Taher made the remarks to reporters after attending an election center director’s rally in his constituency Chauddagram.
He warned that if the elections are delayed, those conspiring from India may exploit the situation. He alleged that the BNP seems intent on returning the country to the pre-reform era, which he called the “Bangladesh without reforms.”
He further stated that any deviation by the government from its current path would signal a loss of neutrality, raising concerns about the fairness of the upcoming elections.
