Dhaka, Sep 02 (V7N) – BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy has alleged that “invisible forces” are conspiring to sabotage the upcoming national elections and deprive people of their voting rights.
He made the remarks on Tuesday afternoon while inaugurating a week-long tree plantation and cleanliness program organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South BNP in East Maniknagar, marking the party’s 47th founding anniversary.
“Efforts are underway to snatch away the people’s right to vote. The people must remain vigilant and give a fitting reply to the anti-voting and anti-democratic forces,” Gayeshwar said in his address.
The senior BNP leader added that while BNP is not currently in power, the party is committed to fulfilling the just demands of all political groups if entrusted with the responsibility of governing.
