Dhaka, Aug 20 (V7N) – BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, who was admitted to United Hospital in the capital after falling ill, received a visit from a Jamaat-e-Islami delegation led by Nayeb-e-Amir Dr. Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher on Tuesday noon.

According to BNP sources, the delegation reached the hospital around 12 pm, but by that time, Mirza Fakhrul had already been released after his condition improved.

Jamaat’s Assistant Secretary General Adv. Moazzam Hossain Helal, along with several leaders from Dhaka Metropolitan North Jamaat, accompanied Dr. Taher during the visit.

Earlier, BNP’s media cell confirmed that Mirza Fakhrul was admitted to United Hospital at around 1 am on Tuesday (August 19) after feeling unwell, just hours after returning from medical treatment in Thailand.
