Preparations are underway in Bangladesh to welcome Begum Zia, with her residence, Feroza, in Gulshan, fully prepared for her arrival. BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir informed reporters that she is expected to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Tuesday at 10:00 am.

Upon arrival, Begum Zia will proceed to her Gulshan residence via Kakali. Alamgir has requested that supporters refrain from standing in the streets to avoid disrupting SSC examinations taking place.

"We will all try our best so that SSC examinees do not face any difficulty in going to their examination centers concerned," he stated. He advised those wishing to welcome the BNP chief to stand on footpaths, and instructed party members to welcome her with national and party flags.

Khaleda Zia will be accompanied by her two daughters-in-law, Zubaida Rahman and Syeda Shamila Rahman, as well as her personal physician, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain. Zahid Hossain also reported that the flight will have a stopover in Doha en route from London to Dhaka.
