Dhaka, Oct 04 (V7N) – Teachers of Dhaka University have called for the immediate release of the detained activists and the safe delivery of ships from the Global Sumud Flotilla to Gaza.

The call was made during a human chain organized by the teachers’ platform “University Teachers Link” in front of Aparajeyo Bangla on Saturday afternoon (October 4).

Speakers at the event urged the international community to ensure that the aid-laden vessels reach Gaza without obstruction and demanded the immediate release of those detained by Israeli forces from the flotilla.

They also condemned Israel’s ongoing attacks and aggression against the Palestinian people, calling for an end to the violence and the restoration of peace in the region.
