Cox’s Bazar, June 12 (V7N): A high-level government delegation reached Cox’s Bazar on Friday as Prime Minister and BNP Chairperson Tarique Rahman prepares for his visit to the district. The aircraft carrying the ministers and state ministers landed at Cox’s Bazar Airport around 11:30 AM. Party leaders and activists welcomed them with flowers and warm greetings.

Overseeing Visit Preparations
According to sources, the ministers are in Cox’s Bazar to supervise security measures, inspect rally venues, ensure administrative coordination, and oversee overall preparations ahead of the PM’s visit. They are scheduled to hold separate meetings with the district administration, law enforcement agencies, and local BNP leaders.
Festive Atmosphere Across District
Cox’s Bazar city is being decorated with arches, banners, and festoons marking the PM’s visit. A festive mood prevails among party activists at district and upazila levels. Local administration has also completed all necessary arrangements to make the visit successful.
BNP and its associate organizations said a large gathering of activists and general people is expected at Saturday’s program. Coordination with participants from various upazilas and unions is now in the final stage.
Sources said Prime Minister Tarique Rahman may inspect development projects, exchange views with the public, and attend key programs during his Cox’s Bazar tour on Saturday.
