Rajshahi, Mar 23 (V7N) – Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu has said that Tarique Rahman is guiding the nation toward transformation, drawing parallels with his father, the late President Ziaur Rahman.

“You can see how Prime Minister Tarique Rahman is leading the country toward change just like his father. He is moving the nation forward with simplicity and integrity, building friendships with all rather than accepting anyone as a master,” the minister said.

He made the remarks while addressing the 50th anniversary celebration of Khurshed Molla Government Girls’ High School in Nachole Upazila as the chief guest.

The minister also highlighted the contributions of Khaleda Zia, stating that the country saw significant progress in the education sector during her leadership. He emphasized that national development depends on an educated population and assured that ongoing efforts to improve education would continue.

The event was presided over by headmaster Nazrul Islam and attended by several distinguished guests, including Dr. Munshi Abu Saif, Md. Harunur Rashid, former MP Aminul Islam, and Acting UNO Sultana Raziya.

Earlier in the day, marking the golden jubilee, Mizanur Rahman Minu joined a colorful procession that began at the school premises and marched through key areas of the upazila headquarters, celebrating the institution’s 50-year milestone.
