Khagrachhari, Sept 12 (V7N) – A meeting was held with leaders of the Puja Celebration Committees of 64 temples in Khagrachhari district to ensure the smooth and organized celebration of the Sharadiya Durga Puja.
 
The event took place on Friday morning at the Khagrachhari Central Laxmi Narayan Temple, organized by the Khagrachhari district branch of the Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council. The session was chaired by the council’s president, Ashok Majumdar.
 
The main guest was Parimal Kanti Sheel, trustee of the Hindu Religious Welfare Trust under the Ministry of Religious Affairs. Special guests included Khagrachhari Sadar Upazila Officer-in-Charge Abdul Baten Mridha, acting president of Khagrachhari Central Laxmi Narayan Temple Ashish Bhattacharya, and Prabin Chakma, president of the Hindu-Buddhist Welfare Front.
 
The program was moderated by Tamal Tarun Das, general secretary of the Bangladesh Puja Celebration Council. During the meeting, leaders discussed plans to celebrate the festival peacefully, safely, and in accordance with religious traditions, ensuring full participation of devotees across the district.
