Dhaka, Oct 15 (V7N) — Notorious criminal Subrata Bain rebuked police officers at the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge’s Court after they attempted to place handcuffs on him during his transfer from a prison van to the court jail on Wednesday morning.

According to court sources, Subrata Bain was brought from Narayanganj District Jail to appear for the charge-framing hearing in an arms case filed with Hatirjheel Police Station.

After being taken down from the prison van, law enforcers placed a helmet and bulletproof jacket on him for security reasons. However, when they tried to handcuff him, Bain angrily scolded the police on the spot.

The hearing on charge framing against Subrata Bain and three associates is scheduled for noon today in the court of Judge Saifur Rahman Majumdar of the 15th Special Tribunal of Dhaka Metropolitan.
