Dhaka, Apr 09 (V7N) – Sarah Cook paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister’s Defence Advisor Brigadier General (Retd) Dr. AKM Shamsul Islam on Thursday.

The meeting took place at the Defence Advisor’s office in the Armed Forces Division, Dhaka Cantonment. A four-member delegation led by the UK High Commissioner attended the session.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged greetings and explored various possibilities to enhance defence cooperation between Bangladesh and the United Kingdom.

Discussions also focused on ways to maintain and strengthen the existing positive military relations between the two countries.
