Dhaka, Nov 09 (V7N) — The Expatriate Voter App and the final voter list will be published on November 18, announced Election Commission Senior Secretary Akhtar Ahmed.

He made the announcement during a press briefing at the Election Commission building on Sunday (November 9) afternoon.

During the briefing, Akhtar Ahmed advised Aam Janata Dal Member Secretary Tarique Rahman to end his hunger strike and seek legal redress instead, noting that the party’s registration was not approved due to specific conditions. He also stated that any aggrieved candidate or political party can file an appeal at any time.

The Senior Secretary further informed that the schedule for the dialogue between political parties will be determined after the publication of the gazette on the electoral code of conduct.

So far, the expatriate voter registration program has been launched in 11 countries, with the latest programs held in New York and Washington, USA.
