Dhaka, October 28 (V7N)- A seven-member delegation of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is holding a meeting with the Election Commission (EC) to discuss issues related to the upcoming national elections.
The meeting began at noon on Tuesday (October 28) in the meeting room of the Election Building in Agargaon, Dhaka.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin and four other election commissioners are attending the meeting on behalf of the EC.
The Jamaat delegation is led by Secretary General Mia Golam Parwar. Other members include Assistant Secretary General Dr. Hamidur Rahman Azad, Maulana ATM Masum, Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan, Central Working Committee Member and Publicity Secretary Matiur Rahman Akand, Dhaka Metropolitan South Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul, and Dhaka Metropolitan North Ameer Selim Uddin.
The meeting is expected to focus on Jamaat’s participation in the upcoming National Assembly elections, party registration, and the overall electoral environment.
