Dhaka, Sep 28 (V7N) – The Election Commission (EC) will hold a series of dialogues today (Sunday) with civil society representatives and academics as part of its preparation for the upcoming 13th National Parliament Election.

The dialogue with civil society representatives is scheduled from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the session with academics will be held in the afternoon from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) AMM Nasir Uddin will preside over the discussions, which will be broadcast live on the EC’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page.

As per the EC’s work plan, the ongoing series of dialogues will involve representatives of registered political parties, university teachers, civil society and women’s groups, media editors and journalists, election observers, election experts, and injured July fighters. The Commission aims to complete the entire dialogue process within one to one-and-a-half months.
