Dhaka, Sep 24 (V7N) – According to a recent survey conducted by Innovision Consulting, 41.3 percent of voters in Bangladesh plan to vote for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections. More than 30 percent of voters indicated support for Jamaat-e-Islami, while the Awami League’s vote share has risen by about 5 percent compared to the previous election.
The survey report was released at the Agargaon Archive Auditorium in Dhaka on Wednesday (Sept 24).
The study shows that 18.8 percent of respondents intend to vote for the Awami League, reflecting a 5 percent increase from the previous poll. Meanwhile, 4.1 percent of voters expressed support for the Jatiya Nagorik Party (NCP).
The survey also revealed regional trends: BNP is leading in six divisions, Jamaat-e-Islami is ahead only in the Rangpur division, and the Awami League is ahead in Barisal.
According to the consulting firm, voters are increasingly making decisions based on candidates rather than party symbols. While BNP maintains a lead nationally, many respondents expressed satisfaction with Jamaat’s local political activities, although a segment of voters remains undecided.
The survey data was collected from a total of 10,413 respondents across the country.
