Dhaka, Aug 08 (V7N) – Bangladesh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam held a courtesy meeting with UN Security Advisor on Bangladesh Tess B. Bresnan at Police Headquarters on Thursday morning.

During the meeting, Bresnan expressed satisfaction with the professionalism and cooperation of the Bangladesh Police in ensuring the safety of officers and staff working in various UN agencies and affiliated organizations in the country.

Both sides discussed ways to strengthen mutual cooperation, particularly in the context of the upcoming national elections.

IGP Alam reaffirmed that the police have placed the security of UN personnel and other foreign organizations working in Bangladesh as a top priority, pledging that this cooperation will continue in the future.

Police Headquarters DIG (Operations) Rezaul Karim and other senior officers were also present at the meeting.
