Dhaka, Nov 19 (V7N) – Law Adviser Prof. Asif Nazrul has modestly rated his performance a 4 out of 10 after completing his first 100 days in office.
Speaking at a media briefing titled "100-Day Apology of the Ministry of Law" at the Secretariat on Tuesday, Prof. Nazrul said, “If I were to evaluate my work, I would give myself a score of 4 out of 10.”
He noted that his initial responsibilities spanned three ministries, but he is now managing two.
“This division of responsibilities limited my ability to devote 100% of my attention to the Ministry of Law. Nonetheless, I worked no less than 12 hours each day,” he stated.
Reflecting on his limitations, he admitted, “I have not made any deliberate mistakes. While there may be gaps in my qualifications and experience, I have given my best effort.”
Expressing dissatisfaction with his overall performance, the adviser shared a personal note: “I am a religious person. At night, when I am alone, I pray to Allah for guidance to fulfil the responsibilities entrusted to me through the student uprising. I seek the strength to make my work meaningful.”
