Narayanganj, Aug 21 (V7N)- A fire broke out at an easy bike garage in the Gabtali area of Fatulla, Narayanganj, spreading to several nearby godowns.
The fire broke out on Friday (August 21) morning, according to Fire Service and Civil Defence sources.
Sources said the fire is believed to have originated from an electrical short circuit at the easy bike garage. The flames quickly spread to several adjacent godowns, raising concerns that the fire could spread further.
Upon receiving the information, four units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence rushed to the scene and began firefighting operations.
After around an hour of continuous efforts, firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control.
Fire service officials said their quick response prevented the fire from spreading to other areas.
No casualties have been reported so far. Authorities are assessing the extent of property damage, while the exact cause of the fire is also being investigated.
