Geneva, Sep 16 (V7N)- Erika Guevara-Rosas, Senior Director of Research, Campaigns, Policy and Advocacy at Amnesty International, has expressed concern over what she described as alleged atrocities committed by Israel against Palestinians.

In a post on the social media platform X, Rosas said there was "no room to condone genocide," and accused Israel of demonstrating what she called brutality through actions including alleged ethnic cleansing and occupation.

She further alleged that Israel was perpetrating atrocities against Palestinians and urged the international community not to ignore the situation.

"We must all speak up for the Palestinians," Rosas said, calling for greater attention to the issue.

Concluding her post, the Amnesty International official said, "Humanity must prevail."

Israel has repeatedly rejected allegations of genocide and other abuses in its conduct toward Palestinians. Israeli authorities have maintained that their military operations are undertaken for security and counter-terrorism purposes and have disputed accusations concerning their actions in the Palestinian territories.
