Tehran, Aug 10 (V7N)- Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has appointed Dr. Mohsen Rezaei as his representative to the country’s Supreme National Security Council.
Under the appointment, Rezaei will represent the Supreme Leader in key discussions on Iran’s national security and strategic and foreign policy matters.
Rezaei has long been a prominent figure in Iran’s political and security establishment. His appointment assumes particular significance amid the country’s evolving political and security environment.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Bagher Zolghader, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, has been appointed as a political adviser to Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei.
The appointments were announced on Monday (August 10), giving Zolghader an expanded role in the political decision-making process of Iran’s supreme leadership.
Zolghader currently heads the Supreme National Security Council, a key body responsible for national security and strategic policymaking. His additional appointment as political adviser is expected to further strengthen his role in the leadership’s political affairs.
The changes come at a time of significant developments in Iran’s political and security landscape.
