WASHINGTON, April 10 (V7N) – US President Donald Trump on Thursday launched a blistering attack on several prominent conservative commentators who have criticized his war against Iran, branding them “NUT JOBS” in a lengthy social media post.
“They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too!” Trump wrote in the nearly 500-word message. His remarks targeted Tucker Carlson and Megyn Kelly, both former Fox News hosts turned podcasters, as well as Candace Owens and Alex Jones, known for their conspiracy-driven platforms.
All four have accused Trump of abandoning his anti-war campaign promises and, to varying degrees, of bowing to Israeli pressure to launch the conflict. Their criticism underscores a growing divide among conservatives over the war, posing potential risks for Trump’s Republican Party ahead of November’s midterm elections.
Trump ridiculed Carlson for not holding a college degree, revisited his feud with Kelly from the 2016 campaign, and mocked Owens over her controversial remarks about France’s First Lady Brigitte Macron. He also said Jones “deserved to go bankrupt” after falsely claiming a school shooting was a hoax.
“These so-called ‘pundits’ are LOSERS, and they always will be!” Trump declared, dismissing their influence and accusing them of chasing “cheap publicity.”
