Tehran, Mar 18 (V7N) – Iran’s Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) has launched the ‘Hajj Qasem’ ballistic missile for the first time in the ongoing war, Chinese state media Xinhua reported on Wednesday.

The missile has reportedly been used to target various US positions in Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates, and Iraq, as well as areas in Tel Aviv-Jerusalem, Israel.

The Hajj Qasem is a solid-fueled, medium-range ballistic missile capable of being launched from a mobile truck-mounted launcher. It has an estimated range of approximately 1,500 kilometers and is designed to strike heavily fortified enemy installations.
