Munich, Apr 20 (V7N) — Bayern Munich have been crowned Bundesliga champions for a record 35th time after a 4–2 victory over VfB Stuttgart at the Allianz Arena on Sunday.

The Bavarians sealed the title with four matches still remaining, continuing their domestic dominance by winning 13 of the last 14 Bundesliga seasons.

Comeback victory seals title

Despite entering the match on the brink of the title, Bayern initially fell behind when Stuttgart took the lead in the 21st minute. However, the hosts responded emphatically, scoring three goals within six minutes to take control of the game.

Raphaël Guerreiro equalized in the 31st minute before quick goals from teammates turned the match around. Harry Kane added another in the 52nd minute to secure the victory.

Stuttgart managed a late goal but failed to mount a comeback despite several attacking attempts.

Dominant season

Bayern have lost just once in the league this season and drawn four matches, underlining their consistency. The team has also set a new scoring record with 109 goals so far.

Eyes on more silverware

Under coach Vincent Kompany, Bayern remain in contention for multiple trophies. They are set to face Bayer Leverkusen in the German Cup semi-finals next Wednesday.

On the European stage, Bayern have reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals, where they will take on defending champions Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg on April 28.
