Liverpool, Mar 25 (V7N) – Egyptian superstar Mohamed Salah has officially announced that he will leave Liverpool FC at the end of the current season, bringing an end to a remarkable nine-year spell at the club.

In a video message, Salah confirmed his decision, saying, “Unfortunately, the time has come to leave Liverpool. This city and its people are part of my life. Liverpool is not just a club, it is a passion.”

While the 32-year-old forward did not reveal his next destination, there has been growing speculation linking him with clubs in the Saudi Pro League, with reports suggesting talks have taken place in recent months.

Despite signing a two-year contract extension last year, Salah’s relationship with new head coach Arne Slot has reportedly been strained. The forward recently voiced frustration over being repeatedly benched, stating, “I’ve been thrown under the bus.”

Salah’s departure will mark the end of one of the most successful individual eras in Liverpool’s history. Since joining the club in 2017, he has been instrumental in their major successes, including domestic and European triumphs, while becoming one of the club’s all-time greats.

His exit leaves a significant gap in Liverpool’s attacking lineup and signals a new chapter for both the player and the club.
