Lisbon, Oct 31 (V7N)- Football legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., has officially made his debut for Portugal’s Under-16 national team, marking a new milestone in his young footballing career.

The 15-year-old winger, who previously represented Portugal’s Under-15 side, appeared as a late substitute in the Federations Cup match against Turkey. Despite limited minutes on the field, Portugal secured a 2–0 victory with goals from Sporting Lisbon’s Samuel Tavares and SC Braga’s Rafael Cabral.

Ronaldo Jr. first drew attention in May during the Vlatko Markovic Tournament in Croatia, where he scored two goals in the final against the hosts while playing for the U-15 team.

Currently part of the Al Nassr academy in Saudi Arabia — the same club where his father plays — Ronaldo Jr. continues to attract attention for his growing skills and composure on the field. From a young age, his footballing journey has been followed closely by fans and media, with many seeing him as the natural successor to his father’s legacy.
